Welcome to LAMOU! As an architect and artist, I’m thrilled to share my passion for patterns and colors with you. LAMOU is a creative space where art, architecture, and design unite, often drawing inspiration from the beauty of nature to bring you home decor pieces that are truly functional art. MATERIALS
At LAMOU, we believe that quality and sustainability go hand in hand with beauty. Our products are crafted from high grade Baltic birch and finished with an eco-friendly polyurethane derived from cheese curd whey in Vermont, ensuring a durable and eco-conscious product. With the addition of UV cured, fade-proof digital ink, each LAMOU product is designed to withstand the test of time, making it a cherished family heirloom for generations to come.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
As an architect, I have been fortunate to develop long lasting relationships with fine crafts people around the country. For LAMOU products, I have partnered with a very skilled woodworker who I have known and worked with for over 30 years. I design the patterns and Mark makes our LAMOU trays with the printed panels that I deliver to him. Our long time friendship has allowed us the opportunity to understand each other's expectations and continue to produce quality products every time.
