LAMOU products are digitally printed on Baltic birch and finished with a water based polywhey. Treat them like a piece of wood furniture. Wipe away liquids like red wine as soon as possible especially on a light print with exposed Birch wood. In general, with a little care, your LAMOU products will last for years.
Yes. LAMOU products are digitally printed with UV cured ink.
UV-cured digital printing uses ultraviolet light to instantly dry (cure) liquid ink during printing. This process creates a highly fade-resistant and durable print that can withstand scratching, moisture, and sunlight— which makes it ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Yes, you can leave your LAMOU trays and placemats outside on a covered porch, but it is important to ensure they remain dry. Avoid exposing them to direct moisture or allowing liquid to settle on their surfaces, as this can damage the materials and affect their appearance. Keeping them protected from rain and humidity will help maintain their quality and longevity, allowing you to enjoy their artistic design in outdoor settings safely.

For purposes of these policies, “damaged condition” means that a printed surface is significantly damaged, scratched, scuffed, cracked or otherwise malformed. Variations, markings, small wood knots do not qualify as "damaged condition."
If you are entitled to a full refund under this policy, we can also exchange your returned item for the same item as a replacement.

Yes. We work hard to ensure that LAMOU products are eco-friendly and sustainable. We print on a high quality Baltic birch and our products are made in Massachusetts and Michigan. We finish our wood with a polyurethane made from the by-products of cheese curd whey from dairy farms in Vermont.
If for any reason, you no longer want or need your LAMOU product, you may use it for kindling in your fireplace. All of the finishes on the wood are non-toxic. We hope you won't resort to this, but we want you to know that it won't contribute to landfill.
